Two Blue Chairs

I've shared this project with you before (here), but I visited my client again this week to discussed her dining room and took some more pictures. We brought in a storage ottoman and some two more pillows on the sofa. We originally had our heart set on a marble top coffee table, but with two young daughters a storage ottoman was more sensible. Interior Decorating is first and foremost about LIFE!

I know, I shared these with you already... but they are two of my most favorite chairs ever.  Navy Velvet!! :)
(chairs are Lee Industries, stool is from Wisteria)

  1. Such a beautiful space! I am totally into navy right now too. Trying to mix it with turquoise and gray in our family room. And my closet has been filling up with navy purchases lately too.

  6. Love the room, nice vibe. But, looks like the ottoman can't serve any of the chairs or sofa (maybe its the photo) but it looks like its too far away and just floating in the middle of the room.

  7. Quick question---Where is the rug from? How about the cream chairs? Do they hold up to little dirty fingers?

  8. I would love to know more about the rug too. I think it looks beautiful in this room and adds alot. I am really drawn to patterned rugs like that but am having a hard time pulling the trigger. Is that pattern coming from one color, in different piles or is it a multi-colored rug? I notice that all the furniture is solid colored. In your opinion, would you only use a patterned rug in a room with solid colored furniture?
