In the mountain (wo)man spirit!

My co-worker wore this plaid shirt yesterday, and I've been loving plaid lately. I went to urbanoutfitters.com to check it out, and it's $48! Too rich for my blood.



The husband has also been feeling the mountain man spirit; he's grown out a beard for the "winter" (I use that term loosely here in Southern California)... doesn't he look cute??

A red and black plaid shirt is on my thrift to-find list, and the husband's beard is free! It's all about saving money here at Newlywedisms.

    What's funny is that I bet you could find a men's shirt just like that in any thrift shop and have it tailored to your size for a grand total of $10!

    Haha - Derek has grown his beard out too!! His is VERY full and of course his dark brown hair makes for a very thick "lumber jack" look! So funny!! What is it with our boys and their beards? May be there is a secret beard club we don't know about - Lindsey's hubby has one too apparently!! Ha!

    I'm loving all the plaid shirts these days. Did you see LC's cute blue and black one on the Hills last night?
    Too bad you can't go shopping with me, I could score that hot shirt for $24 bucks at U.O. ;)

    Old Navy has boys size shirts in this print for a reasonable price. That may work for you as a 3/4 length sleeve. Gap also has the same print. Happy Shopping!
