Speaking of color...

Yesterday I was meeting with a client and we were discussing paint for her small den. We want to go really funky/fun in there, and were thinking maybe high gloss teal walls. Well she pulled out Redbook (surprised!) and showed me a small picture of purple/berry colored walls, and they were AWESOME! Sometimes ideas come straight from the client and they are so perfect.

Later that night I was on Pinterest, and came across the most perfect color:

This color is Mulberry by Benjamin Moore and the design is by Lindsay Coral Harper for Atlanta Homes.

It's exactly the type of color we were looking for! I can't wait to test it out.. now I just need to find some fabric that has this shade in it (and hopefully some blue).

Also, I've noticed (at least with my clients) that purple is SO hot right now. I have three that are using it! Not to mention I'm bringing purple pillows into my own family room. Love it!

  3. The time is right for color and many are going to need a little hand holding in going there.

  4. I did a post on purple a while ago and I got terrible feedback.  I thought I was the only one who liked poor purple.  Glad to hear that's not the case.

  11. I'm in love with that color. It's red yet has a very small tint of purple. It's very nice. I want my bedroom walls to be this color.
