A Gem of a House Tour

I've been finding some real gems on Apartment Therapy lately. I've pinned a lot of them but I thought I'd share this one. You may have seen it already but if you're like me you won't mind seeing it again!

I just adore the style and decorating of this home. It is chic but simple. I wouldn't mind moving right in!! (Even though Matt and I happily left So Cal we've always said we wouldn't mind moving back, but only if I was a famous interior decorator and our currently non-existent kids were all grown and we were rich and could afford a home like this in the hills. ha!! I know, it's laughable.)

Yup, I absolutely love every single thing about this home. File it away under my "dream home" file.

  2. I think it takes a ton of talent to decorate a house so simply and have it turn out so beautiful. Definitely some mad editing skills. I loooove the light fixture in the bathroom.

  5. Unbelievably beautiful.  Definitely one to file away for dream house inspiration!  I completely agree with Marissa that it's amazing at how simply the house is decorated and styled but it's so stunning at the same time.  The back patio area and view is gorgeous. It looks so serene.

This little cottage is out-of-this-world perfection. I ESPECIALLY love all of the fixtures -- such good choices and a great way to keep the historic integrity of the home against some of the more modern furniture. Like Jennifer Bonds said though, I tend to keep too much stuff around to have my house ACTUALLY look like this but I do love the intricate simplicity of it if that makes sense.
