Fall

Fall.... It's my very favorite season of all (he he).

I cannot wait until all the leaves start changing here in NC! I've vowed to myself to get up to Asheville to take in the beauty (and maybe a little antique shopping, too) this fall.. I hope I can keep that promise to myself!

I love this living room, it definitely reads "fall" to me (the orange!):

And speaking of orange & fall, I recently came across this awesome orange & gold paper:

Put it in a frame and voila - beautiful, inexpensive art. (a little side note - this paper is so inexpensive, $5.95, I would actually have it professionally framed. It will make it look so expensive and the price of the art would really only be the framing cost!)

Happy Fall!

  1. Bryn, I love you blog!  I live in FL but I'm traveling up to Asheville in a couple of weeks for vacation.  I really want to get some good antique/junk shopping in- especially looking for more architectural salvage type stuff.  Any recommendations?  Thanks!

  3. You will love Asheville! The Biltmore mansion is amazing. Hendersonville, NC, is a little town on the way to Asheville. There have lots of apple orchards and cute shops on Main Street. It's one of my favorite little towns ever.

  6. Wow, that paper is really stunning! I love fall as well. Back in my home country (Brazil) there is no fall like here in the US - no leaves turning orange, no mild temperatures... I think this might be the main reason for my love for fall, it is so different from what I grew up with!
