Creative Chalkboards

Well, we are thisclose to finishing the laundry room! This morning my MIL left to head back to California.. she will be missed :(

But the laundry is pretty much finished and I cannot wait to share it with you! (Probably on Monday.. I have a lot of catching up to do with work!)

As I mentioned yesterday, we painted the cabinets above the washer/dryer in chalkboard paint. Since then, I've been remembering creative chalkboards I've seen in the past. Here are a few...

I have always loved Lauren's chalkboard fridge. I know it's not really related to my own chalkboard now, but you better believe I will have a house TO DO list on there :)

This is one of my favorites.. I love the cursive writing and I'd love to add an uplifting quote in my laundry room.

I love this idea of drawing examples of what is behind the door. Maybe behind the door with our laundry detergent I can draw a little bottle!

Some favorites from magazines...

  6. Love these images!!! I painted the door to our garage with chalkboard paint, and I LOVE to draw all over it. I went a little crazy buying lots of chalk... :)

  8. I'm considering changing out my pantry door for a solid one and doing chalkboard paint. I think it'd be great to write little things for my kids on the outside but use the inside of the door to keep track of groceries I need.
