I'm alive!

So sorry for the silence yesterday! I left early in the AM to head up to High Point Market and didn't prepare a post.. oops.

I walked Market with Lisa Sherry and her team. I adore them!!! It was refreshing and such a learning experience to see other designer's ideas and what they were drawn to.

We also went to see Bunny Williams talk - it, too, was GREAT. She gave such helpful advice. When I have more time I'd love to write them out for the blog.

Kirsten is coming into town today and I'll be going to market with her tomorrow. Can't wait!!

Hindsight, I should have probably prepared posts for the first half of this week, but I didn't. Again... oops. Keepin' it real folks.

I'll be back soon!!

** I'm also pretty behind on emails. If you've emailed me, you're on my mind and I promise to respond as soon as I can! **

  2. Was wondering if you'd made it to Market. Hope you snap of pictures of your favorite things. I'm toying with the idea of going in October, but it's quite the trip from me :)

I want to pick your brain about High Point Market...I alway go to World Market in Vegas because it's soooo close, but I think High Point might be better??? You will have to tell me your thoughts at Blogfest :)

  4. I keep thinking about the Bunny talk- the highlight of market for me; I've been wanting to do a little post on her, too. Don't know about you but I'm inspired to take a few day trips or quick overnighters to some of the areas famous estates. Lord knows there are plenty within driving distance. Just have such a desire to absorb beautiful surroundings after listening to her...

  5. I just wanted to say that I think it's super fun to read about things you do, and if they take you away from blogging, that's fine! I'd rather know you were out there having fun and being busy, and maybe hear about it later, than read "prepared" posts. (Not that prepared posts can't be nice too, but you know what I mean?)
