The New Gray

I've been obsessing over this shade of gray lately. It's as if forest green had a baby with gunmetal gray.

I'm thinking it'd be perfect on a piece of furniture.

Happy Friday!

  1. what are your thoughts on somehow displaying that paper (since it is 24"x36") in a living room with a couch that millstone gray color? if you don't think it's crazy, how would you present it?

  8. Oh I love this color, which is crazy since I usually shy away from dark greens. I think a secretary painted in this would be beautiful. Maybe with some lovely antique brass pulls?

  9. I love it too! Ever since I saw a dresser painted in that color (on I think it was on 'say YES! to hoboken'), I have wanted to paint the cabinetry in our master bath that color. *Love the thought of two colors mating!! :)

  11. I giggled when I thought about two paints have a baby :) But it's a beautiful color, it really is a nice color to have in a room where there are alot of neutrals like cream and tan. I can see it against a grasscloth wall with a beautiful dove grey fabric in a chair sitting beside it. Okay, I think I just piddled on myself from excitement :)

  12. Love this color! It would add just enough oomph to a piece of furniture while still keeping it fairly neutral. Definitely need to try this, thanks for the inspiration!
