Dallas & Family

This morning I am flying home from Dallas. I had a great time with my family. We just hung out, did some shopping, ate some good food, and I was able to get in a handful of consults. (Shout out to my Dallas consult ladies - it was sooo great meeting you! I had a blast, thank you!)

It was really fun having my parents to myself. Whenever I'm home my mom always wants pictures of us, and I hate getting my picture taken. My dad (who was taking the picture) and I were cracking up at this little photo session...

Finally I decided to be serious and we got a good one:

These were taken on my dad's new iPhone.. such a good camera! And he used the front camera to snap a picture of all of us:

We drove up to WinStar and had some fun gambling with $10. We're a cheap thrifty family.

My parent's dog Austin is soo cute:

He's a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Japanese Chin mix. I love snuggling his crazy fur.

I also had to post this picture... I was looking through old albums (like I always do when I am home). I must have hated taking pictures back then, too..

Nice sweater.

Hope you guys had a great weekend! Back to the daily grind...

  7. haha, i love that your mom has the exact same expression in every shot. i feel like that's a sign of a grown-up--knowing how to be consistently normal in pictures. i am TERRIBLE at at looking normal in pictures. sometimes i practice smiling in the mirror. (yes. lame.) when i take pictures for my blog i can sort of handle it because i'm alone. but otherwise, i can't handle it.

  11. 1) With an iPhone? impressive! (love your funny faces)

    2) you make fun of that sweater... but in all of it's 80's glory, I bet the print on it would still sell like crazy these days! It looks like it would fit in well at urban outfitters...
