I looooooove white.

It's been a couple weeks (a month?) since we painted our family room white. It's hands down my favorite room in our home and I'm so so glad we did white! White is my favorite "color" right now.

Sooo you know when I stumbled upon this space by Brad Ford ID I was in love!

This space reminds me of one of my favorite artists - ericka o'rouke. I am a huge fan of her pottery:

  1. so... i'm curious. if you paint the walls white (which i also love) what color do you paint the trim? a glossier version of the same white? or if you're like us and have original stained (light oak, i think) wood crown molding and trim, do you leave it?

  2. Now that you are in NC, check of the pottery of Seagrove, NC if you can get away for a day. There is also a great festival in November each year.

  6. Bryn, I am amazed at your day to day transformations on your home, I look forward to seeing your posts and what a normal person budget can do to a home. The white is beautiful and I can't wait to see the living room when it is all done. (although i think the word done and designer are incompatible things)...keep up the good work

  7. What color white did you do in your living room?

  8. I love white walls too! But that's mostly because I loove color so much that our furnishings would just compete with any other color walls. (Like our lime green couch!)

Too bad we live in a rental and the white walls are such an ugly white. There are many times I've contemplated painting them a brighter white, but my husband would just think I'm absolutely bonkers then.

  10. Hey Bryn, which white did you use in your LR? I just went back and looked at your pics, it's very nice- not cold or blue toned.

  12. I have been contemplating doing white walls in a room... but I have the same question as mxq. Do you paint the trim the same white, just glossier or a different white? What color of white did you use?
