I've been wondering how I am going to transition my always-60-or-70-degrees California wardrobe into a cold (& snowy!) North Carolina wardrobe. Thank god Jessica posted this cute gal today, it's genius and perfect for my dilemma! I'm a huge fan of layers (both in rooms and on bodies).
Two scarves, one solid and one patterned:
When I can pull myself out of this insane packing, I'll be on the look out for these types of items.

And here I thought it was a problem when I had 2 scarves on - one indoor one to go with my outfit, and the other an outdoor one to go with my coat. It happens often, but maybe I should be embracing the look. She certainly looks cute in it and I think it is just what you need for the cooler weather you are moving to.
ReplyDeletehmmmm...the possibilities are endless....
ReplyDeleteMy little sister and I were just discussing this very thing today! We're both from Wyoming (brrrr!) and she is still living in Colorado (br! with only one r, ha!) but I am now in sunny California where we can pretend it's cold at 50' and run around in a sweatshirt and flipflops ;-) Anyway, she said the latest Glamour magazine had a "Hey it's OK...if your winter wardrobe is just your summer wardrobe with tights." We can all relate!
ReplyDeleteThis seems like it should have such a no-brainer for all of us to have tried already! It's so simple, chic and, well, brilliant.
ReplyDeleteLove it , really cool.
ReplyDeleteI like! And hey, I'm in Minnesota, so I might not stop at just two!
ReplyDeleteHmm... I like this idea. Lately I've been wearing my favorite gray scarf and then pairing it with a really long necklace. I let the two get tangled up together and I love how it looks. I wonder how well I could pull off two scarves!
ReplyDeletewhile i do like your deux scarves choice... i especially like the polka dots on the brick wall behind you!
