Happy Valentines Day!

I'm one of those people who think Valentine's Day isn't really that big of a deal. I HATE attention, and I think that's what this day is about - flowers at work, big balloons, etc, it's just definitely not my thing.

Matt and I DO have a cute Valentine's tradition though. 5 years ago (wow!!), it was our very first Valentine's Day. Well it turned out my college roommate got dumped ON Valentine's Day, and was feeling really down. Matt and I decided to cancel our V-day plans and the three of us went out to the one place where we knew there wouldn't be any crowds - IHOP! We had a blast, and we've been going back ever since.

One of my favorite parts about going to IHOP on Valentine's Day, is you get to see all the old couples who have been together for longer than we've been alive. I love to see them and imagine Matt and I still going all those years in the future.
