Our updated patio was posted on The Home Depot Apron blog yesterday! I'm excited to share it with you :)
If you remember, the befores were very sad and icky:
Our back patio was pretty "rustic" to begin with.. we pressure washed the brick but even after that it had a old, weathered look to it. BUT I didn't mind at all.. because these were my favorite patio styles anyway:
I didn't have the time nor the budget for climbing roses and a pergola.. but we did add four 4x4 wooden posts to support the string lights that I had my heart set on. I also added groups of potted plants like in the inspiration image above.
Here are the after shots!
You can check out the rest of the images and get product details HERE on the Home Depot Apron Blog! :)

So beautiful! Wow, what a difference. I love the string lights. Never would have thought of adding posts just for those. I wonder how the lights stand up to wild weather? In Iowa we have crazy storms and major wind. I think you should add 2 more strands crisscrossing over the middle!
ReplyDeleteI was on Pinterest and saw a front door post from your blog site. I can't find the actual blog that talks about the front door but I love the color and was hoping you could tell me the brand and color. The hose had gray siding and the door was a blue/green color
ReplyDeleteThanks!!
A splendid transformation. What a wonderful job I'm sure you're proud of, looks lovely!
ReplyDeleteLooks great! Love the lights, especially! Funny we got the same patio sets...mine is posting tomorrow. :)
ReplyDeleteWell done, I love the string lights, even with out having a pergola your patio is definitely beautiful, it looks so nice to have a dinner date there.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great patio improvement, Bryn! The difference is so much noticeable, especially in the night when those string lights are on. Now you can gather your friends around here and have some outdoor dinner or just hang out with your family and play some cards.
