This is an exciting week here at the Dunn home. First up is a............. new headboard!!!!
It really wasn't planned. I had always imagined getting a new bed much later on and getting a King.. BUT then Matt and I talked about it and we decided we wanted to keep a Queen. THEN, we got in a handful of new beds at Isabella, and this headboard was headed to storage. I asked Erin (who owns Isabella) what she thought about selling it to me, and that saint of a woman gave me a really great deal I couldn't pass up!! So that's the story of the new bed!
I LOVE IT!
Then, I decided I needed to switch up the artwork on the large, long wall in our bedroom. So I put my creativity hat on and created 8 little pieces of art using the handmade paper I used to have in here.
With all these bedroom updates happening, tile is also happening!
Last night I sorted through and laid out two bathrooms worth of tile so I could pick the exact ones I want my guys to use. Marble tile is HEAVY.. I'm actually sore this morning!
All the pictures above are from my iPhone. I promise more detailed pictures and info when I have time :)
In other news, I walked by Char's bed this morning and this is how I found her:
It gave me a little laugh. Matt's sticker must have fallen off the ledge it was on and onto her bed. Happy Election Day! I can't wait for the results!

Stunning artwork, Bryn!! I can't wait to have you help me pick out a few pieces when I buy my place.
ReplyDeleteI agree - more details about that fabulous art!!! I have some handmade paper from Kate's Paperie that I can't quite figure out where or how to frame (I thought about the Ikea frames too, but my paper is a different pattern and I'm nervous to cut it down to size). This looks like an amazing solution! Thanks! :)
