I love all these images ! I just found some 95" tall raw silk cream lined panels on clearance and I cannot wait to double them up for fullness, add rings, and hang them around my french doors. So elegant, so fresh, so chic !
I agree, I definitely think that layers of white looks very sophisticated and not at all boring. I ended up doing white drapes on white patterned sheers in my own home because I have multiple colors on my walls, and I thought anything else might look a bit schizophrenic.
...though I disagree about the snow - I'm from Wisconsin and our snow is often a far cry from soft! ;)
We just moved and our Guest Room/Study walls are ivory and our curtains are white: I thought it was going to be boring, but it looks really chic instead! Great photos :)
Hey - totally unrelated to this post but are you close to finishing any of your client projects? Do you plan to share when they are complete? I'm sure I'm not alone is saying I'd like to see what you've been working on. All the best, Danielle
other-option: My biggest client project is being shot next Friday! So I will be able to share pictures soon after. A couple other projects of mine are taking a bit longer than expected (due to renovations), so not sure about those. The homeowners are doing it on their own.. so we're working around everyone's schedules :)
Cream curtains on white-ish walls was the original plan for our master bedroom. Didn't look right in our space though and ended up going with BM Quiet Moments for the walls. The cream drapes panned out though {pics on our blog} and I am LOVING them.
I'm planning on doing this is our master bedroom to create that "airy" vibe so many of us strive for. Personally, I don't think it's bad if your curtains blend in with the walls!
I bet that those walls are not white, they are probably some sort of tinted white. I love whites with hints of color. love that room.

These rooms are so inspirational! I'm particularly loving the black and white comforter.
