A little rule.

I have a little rule that I often tell myself now that I'm trying to make it in the big, scary world of interior design/decorating: A room doesn't have to be complicated and over-styled to be beautiful*.

Case in point:



*Of course, beautiful architecture helps.

    Good rule, sometimes it's what is not in the room that makes a space beautiful! I couldn't agree more with your mantra :)

    Agreed...even though it can be hard some times. There are so many pretty things... :)

    BTW - I've started my own blog. A few of you ladies from D&R have really inspired me... Its not much yet, but I'm working on it. :)

    That is a great rule for us all! A beautiful space doesn't need too much 'decoration'.
