Can I just share with you that I'm obsessed with charcoal gray velvet couches? I've never really seen one used in a space before so of course I was giddy when I saw the one above.
I've been eying this one from Z Gallerie for at least a year or so...
It will be ours someday! I've heard rumblings about Z Gallerie closing down due to bankruptcy and although it's tragic I'd love to get this couch on discount. Does anyone have any news about this?

ReplyDeleteI had a grey couch years ago, and loved it. I painted the walls a grey flannel and had black accents...and I loved it, then I had twin boys and it became the nursery....wah wah!

ReplyDeleteZ.. yea.. our Z did HUGE discounting for days... they said that they had to close, ect. And then all of the sudden.. they said that they had worked something out & they were back in business... strange.
ReplyDeleteWe just ordered a charcoal grey velvet bed from Crate & Barrel last night!! I can't wait for it to come - this post has made me more confident in my decision - Derek wanted dark and I wanted upholstered so we did both!!
ReplyDeleteZ Gallerie has an outlet/discount location in Long Beach CA. They are usually open Saturday mornings at 9 I think?? People line up as early as 8, so you need to arrive early. They used ot be open on Tuesdays as well, but I'm not sure now. You should check it out!! Its worth it, we bought a lot of furniture there for under $400!!

Z Gallerie only closed underperforming locations. Far as I know, they are still totally in business. Your hope to get a sofa at close out prices from Z was probably in the past, when they were closing stores.
ReplyDeleteI have this couch and I LOVE IT!!! I actually picked out my own fabric for it - a chocolate velvet microfiber. The couch is very roomy - enough for two people to cuddle on. :)
