Crushes

Ever since I can remember I always had crushes on boys. I'm talking like 6 or 7 years old. My first crush's name was Tristan.. he had blond hair and was sooo cute.

I don't get crushes on boys anymore, excluding my husband and Robert Pattinson, but I do get crushes on pretty little things.

Here are some of them right now...

This blue-ish gray-ish side table.. it's not used in anything else in the room but it's so perfect. I love it (and I think I am going to copy the color for my little vintage cigarette table in my living room)

And speaking of the little cigarette table, this latch is perfect for it. I love hardware!!

I'm hoping it will work.. for $2.10 I'm willing to try.

I'm majorly crushing on the painting my parents just sent me. Every time I walk down the stairs and see it with the black doors it makes me happy.. especially when the light flows into the room so beautifully.

It really makes me want to get things done in this space!

I'm crushing on this beautiful frame.. but it's pretty pricey.

And this lamp I saw at market:

Skirted tables.. I have a major crush on skirted tables right now.

Are you guys crushing on anything right now?

  2. Yes - Herge's illustrations of TinTin and his dog Snowy. How would you bring that beauty into a child's bedroom? A few prints? A throw pillow?

  15. I'm so with you on the boy crush. My first crush was in pre-school. Does that makes me slightly weirder?

As of late I'm totally crushing on this turquoise chair from Anthro. More like lusting. I think about it daily.

  16. I totally have a crush on Robert Pattinson too... I just can't help it! I am loving skirted tables too I used to have them as my master bedroom side tables but I thought they lacked storage and now I'm kind of itching to bring them back!  I just felt like it added an extra element to the room.
