Boardwalk Empire: My New Favorite

Anyone out there watch Boardwalk Empire? I love it. I love not only the story line, but the clothes and especially the interiors.

If you don't have HBO, you can go here to watch clips to see the costume and sets.

When the first episode aired, I told my husband that the 50's and 60's trend of Mad Men has now been replaced with the 20's and 30's.

I need some 1920's in my life... I recently came across these beautiful prints on Look Linger Love.

Both prints are by Etsy seller TUSH TUSH.

Aren't they amazing?!

I recently found your blog & have been reading it like a book ever since. I love it! You may or may not get a lot of comments from me in the near future. :-)

  5. My hubs loves it and although it is taking me awhile to get into the storyline, I do love the costumes an sets. We actually just got back from Disneyworld where right near Epcot they have Disney's boardwalk which is literally almost identical!

  12. I'm pretty sure this isn't here in Aus yet, but I can't wait. Love the 20s and 30s & anything with Mary McDonald or Steve Buscemi in it is worth watching.

  14. I will have to keep an eye out for it - I doubt it will show up here. (Australia)

On a similar vein, you might enjoy the House of Eliot. It is a BBC drama that was, I think, made in the 90s and is set in the 1920s.

  16. After three episodes, I became completely obsessed, though I can do without the violence (one reason I love Mad Men so much). I have been drooling over the violet dress Margaret was wearing to work in the boutique.

  17. They are amazing! I know I would love Boardwalk Empire I've tried really hard not to watch it because the last thing I need is another TV show. Well maybe I can catch it On Demand.
