Today's post is about fashion.

Today's post is about fashion. It's almost fall, and fall is my favorite time of the year for clothes. Also, I was just introduced to Kendi Everyday, and I'm wildly inspired.

I'm a minimilist, so I don't need too many clothes. A few jeans, a good handful of tops, and a good handful of cardigans/jackets. A couple boots and a couple flats and I'm good. Here are some new things for fall that will help complete my wardrobe:

  1. Cute stuff! I know that you're a queen of vintage, but if you were to buy some new boots to wear with jeans this fall, which ones would you go for? I'm needing a new pair and feeling overwhelmed. Inspiration, please?

  2. Have you ever ordered from Lands End Canvas? It's J. Crew-esque, but cheaper. I placed an order in the spring and one at the end of summer and have been pleased with the quality and fit of all the items I've purchased.
They have shirt similar to the checked one you posted from J. crew.

  5. Bryn, if you ever have the time, I highly suggest you take a trip up to Lynchburg, VA (where I'm from), which shouldn't be more than a couple hours from you. J. Crew's distribution center is based there, so they've got two clearance stores that are amazing! They are not the same thing as a traditional outlet store. The prices are great and once a month (on the weekends) they do "sample sales" in a large warehouse, where the deals are even sweeter. It would be fun to meet you if you ever decided to go :)

I think you'd look darling in all of those pieces, by the way.

  7. I'm with Kelsey. Can you please recommend a pair of new boots? I'd love a pair without a heel to wear over skinny jeans. Thanks!! And I love your fashion posts. Keep 'em coming!

  11. Love your picks...esp the J. Crew plaid button-up! Fall is the best season for clothes. I live in Texas and unfortunately it's still so hot that I have no interest in buying sweaters and boots yet!

  12. Oh I love J.Crew - but I'm on a spending hiatus - and jcrew id most definitely not allowed! Love all your picks - my absolute favorite comfy flats are jeffrey campbell - they are a little pricey (about 100/pair) but well worth it - best flats I've ever owned!
