Things that make me stop in my tracks.

Usually I'm go go go on the internet finding things for clients and design boards and sometimes the house. But every once and a while I'll see things that make me stop in my tracks, and I file it them away. Here are some of those things...

Tom's New Wedges

Also, I was able to find a new bathing suit that isn't your typical string-tied, triangle top, way-too-skimpy variety. Although I would have liked a J.Crew suit, I found this suit at Tar-jay for a much more wallet friendly price ($18 a piece):

Surprisingly, it's very similar to one of the suits I wanted at J.Crew:

For all my pale friends out there, buy a white suit - it will make you feel tan!

  1. Not to get too personal, but you look FABULOUS in your new cute suit! This 7 1/2 month preggo lady is JEALOUS. And wondering if I'll ever get my body back!

Love the Target deals! I also got myself a suit there for the summer...not as cute as yours!

  2. This gave me an idea...I really need to make a folder where I file stuff like this away too. You'd think it would be that simple, but I never do it! I am always seeing things I love online and then I'll say "maybe I'll get that...later" and then I forget about the site and can't remember where I found it.

  9. I bought that same swimsuit this weekend (in yellow). Don't you just love it?

I want those toms wedges BAD.

P.S. - I've really enjoyed all the shots of your house in progress. Keep up the good work!

  13. Ooh, my favorites are that beautiful lace bag and the super comfy looking bath rug! I agree about needing to make a file for things I love. I always find myself running across something fabulous, then I can't find it later.

And that swimsuit is a great budget substitution for the Jcrew one!

  17. Toms wedges are the best! YOu have to get a pair. So versatile, but they're best with white jeans and a tunic!

  18. WARNING: i have that bathing suit in green, and last weekend the plastic clasp broke and my top fell off in front of a bunch of friends at the lake! i am an a-cup/size xs up top, and all i'd done in that suit was lounge around drinking cocktails a few times since i got it. a friend who was also at the lake had just told me that very morning how her target bathing suit's plastic clasp had broken on her earlier in the summer. so be careful! i spent the rest of the afternoon with a carabiner holding my suit up since we were on the boat across the lake :) i plan to replace mine with a metal clasp this weekend, because it's just too cute!
