On The Cutting Room Floor

Just like in any other industry, the first "draft" sometimes doesn't make it. That was the case with this scheme:

We ended up going with a more neutral, feminine color scheme for my clients' master bedroom.

But I still do love Kelly Wearstler's "Mushroom/Straw" Bengal Bazaar and hope to use it sometime in the future!

Wouldn't it be so interesting to see the discarded design plans of famous designers? Now THAT would make for an awesome coffee table book!

  3. Looks fabulous! I agree... a coffee table book like that would be so fun. What's the tan diamond shape fabric? Love it!

  5. You're onto something with that book idea - it would be so interesting to see. The drafting/collaborating/editing process is always so fascinating to me.
