Almost there...

Yesterday I came home from a meeting to find my new bathroom pendant waiting for me at my front door. I was so excited I went straight upstairs and hung it - it literally only took 5 minutes!

Globe Conversion Kit Pendant from Home Decorators

I love it! I especially love the pattern it throws off. Makes a boring place like a bathroom feel a little more interesting.

Next on my list is to add new hardware to the bathroom vanity. I want to add oil rubbed bronze to match the door hardware and the pendant (and also a floor length mirror that you can't see in this picture). I just ordered some simple and inexpensive hardware so I should have that finished soon!

I'll be sharing the "final reveal" and all the info, sources, etc very soon! This bathroom makeover was on a tight budget (and I still have things I should do, like replace the faucets, mirror, etc.. but I'm in no rush).

It's come a long way from where it started....

  1. Love the new light. You have come a long way on this one for a tight budget - can't wait to see the final.

  3. Looking good! You actually gave me the idea of using one of those conversion lights over my bathtub, so thank you for that! ...now, I just need to decide on one! I'm curious about the three shelves over your toilet - would you be willing to share where they came from? I need shelves over the toilet in my guest bath, but haven't found the right ones yet! I admire your do-it-on-a-budget restraint. We redid the guest bath and we're about to do our master bath, and even though we are trying to do this on a budget, I'm having a very difficult time making budget friendly choices! My husband is ready to strangle me!!!!

Wow Bryn! Your bathroom is looking amazing. I love the light fixture you chose. It's the perfect amount of contract in an otherwise neutral (in the clean and spa-like sense) bathroom!

  6. The new pendant is just the thing. I actually wouldn't have known those were the same rooms. It's looking beautiful in there! Have you considered keeping that great mirror, and maybe just framing it out?
