A Design Board & Guest Post

I recently created this living room design board for an e-client. They had a really awesome floor to ceiling old red brick fireplace, so I took the colors straight from it to create the space.

Yesterday I wrote a post on Makeunder My Life about finding the perfect pieces at discount stores like Home Goods. It's all about what is worth taking home and what is best to be left so you don't accumulate clutter in your home. Here is an example:

    I second Cathy's feedback.  Beautiful board.  The article was fantastic.  There are a lot of households out there that can't distinguish between 'take it' and please, please 'leave it'.  Especially with holiday decor.  Thanks for spelling it out.

    I loved your guest post on Designing with Intention.  It's the intention part that really struck home.  Sounds like a book title to me!  Seriously, you should write a book on the topic!  It would be so great.  Love your work.  Have a great weekend!

    Loving this board!  Do you know who makes that ikat fabric, or is that a premade pillow from etsy?  I've been looking for a large scale print in blue, chartreuse, and rust, and that looks like it might fit the bill.

    Thanks so much for the Homegoods tips!  I have a hard time walking in to a TJ Maxx or Marshall's and deciphering what I really need versus just buying something because I think it's a grea deal....you're right on about the Christmas decor!
