As I mentioned in the previous post, I am working on a "tour our home" feature on my sidebar. This button has been there a while, but it used to take you to all my posts related to my home. Now, it will take you to a separate page with before, in progress, and (someday) after pictures.
I just added new pictures of our family room. Here they are:
You'll see some little changes - I added the leather pillow to Charlotte's chaise. You may also notice the ottoman looks different. I won't get into it, but I've been having issues with my upholster's work and there were issues with the ottoman. I also added the IKEA task light next to the sofa.
Still so much to do... but hopefully this is an easier way to help you see the progress!
Click here or the button on the right hand sidebar!

ReplyDeleteIt was custom made, sorry!
ReplyDeleteWhat is your living room's paint color?
ReplyDeleteWow I love your ottoman, where is that from?
ReplyDeleteLove the ottoman and the pop of color it brings to the space. Thanks for sharing a work in progress... it reminds me that not all rooms are completed immediately. It takes time to find the things we love.
ReplyDeleteHi, Bryn.... I found you via Helena over at A Diary of Lovely. Your living room is great. Love the mirror above the fireplace... is that from Pottery Barn? I think I recall seeing a similar one sold there. I am thinking... must have!! xo
ReplyDeleteI love your mirror over the mantel. I also love fellow North Carolinians' blogs.
ReplyDeleteI love the tour our home feature! One of my favorite things is seeing design blogger's homes.
ReplyDeleteI love how Charlotte is always prominantly 'lounging' in all your house pictures. And the house is lovely!!
ReplyDeleteI like your media console, but I thought I remember you saying you wanted to change it. What is the "in" look for a media console in a traditional/modern home?
ReplyDeleteI love how all of the furniture is so different- yet it all still goes together! Lovely job!
ReplyDeletethank you so much! That is very sweet.. especially since I have SO much more to do :)
ReplyDeleteI just adore this room.. your whole home actually! It is so inviting, so appealing and reads so real and liveable. Adore! x
ReplyDeleteNope, it's from Home Goods a while ago :)
ReplyDeleteDid you make the mirror above the fireplace? It almost looks like another window. Like it!
ReplyDeleteLooking good! Charlotte looks adorable too!
