Fun Traditional Design Board: Before & After

I LOVE when design board clients send me afters of their spaces!! This client contacted me for help with her living room. Here are the before shots:

And here is her board that I posted back in June:

I told her she definitely had to keep those awesome cane back chairs and reupholster them. And when I saw the afters, they are definitely my favorite part.

Here are the afters.. she did such an amazing job creating the room!

If I've worked with you on a design board, please send me your afters and I'll feature your hard work on my blog :)

If you are interested in your own design board, click here for more info.

  5. Bryn, I have good intentions to get pics to you, but our playroom is always either full of kids or a disaster :)

They are coming soon! I love the way this project turned out!

  6. Jaye, I still go back and forth on whether I should've painted them. But, Bryn suggested leaving them and I think they look great. I think white would look great too, though.

I've always loved the Audrey draps from pb and thought they'd work great. I have the fun brown and white fabric for a pillow, but havent' gotten around to making it. Someday...

  20. Thank you for showing the chairs! I have a similar fabric and rattan style chairs on rollers. My first instinct was to paint the chairs white to go with the fabric, then I put my brakes on. I have to keep telling myself I cannot paint every piece of furniture!

Fantastic! I can't decide what I like best. The drapes or the chairs! Thanks for sharing.
