And here is her board that I posted back in June:
I told her she definitely had to keep those awesome cane back chairs and reupholster them. And when I saw the afters, they are definitely my favorite part.
Here are the afters.. she did such an amazing job creating the room!

Jaye, I still go back and forth on whether I should've painted them. But, Bryn suggested leaving them and I think they look great. I think white would look great too, though.

ReplyDeleteSo fun to read all of these comments!! I originally won the fabric on the board on ebay but when it came it looked totally different and aweful! I've always loved the Audrey draps from pb and thought they'd work great. Oh, the wall color in the foyer is restoration hardware silver sage (color matched at home depot). Thanks for all the sweet compliments!! Bryn did an awesome job! ReplyDeleteThe changes look great!! I especially love the chair in that last image!
ReplyDeleteThank you for showing the chairs! I have a similar fabric and rattan style chairs on rollers. My first instinct was to paint the chairs white to go with the fabric, then I put my brakes on. I have to keep telling myself I cannot paint every piece of furniture!
ReplyDeleteFantastic! I can't decide what I like best. The drapes or the chairs! Thanks for sharing.
