what are your thoughts on somehow displaying that paper (since it is 24"x36") in a living room with a couch that millstone gray color? if you don't think it's crazy, how would you present it?
I can't agree more! love it! I used a similar color in my kitchen renovation: http://chopwhiskstir.blogspot.com/2010/12/you-asked-for-it.html Love your blog!
Love love love. You know I love that wet bar. Plan to do something almost just like it in the new house!! Can't wait to see if you paint a piece of furniture that color!
Oh I love this color, which is crazy since I usually shy away from dark greens. I think a secretary painted in this would be beautiful. Maybe with some lovely antique brass pulls?
I love it too! Ever since I saw a dresser painted in that color (on I think it was on 'say YES! to hoboken'), I have wanted to paint the cabinetry in our master bath that color. *Love the thought of two colors mating!! :)
I giggled when I thought about two paints have a baby :) But it's a beautiful color, it really is a nice color to have in a room where there are alot of neutrals like cream and tan. I can see it against a grasscloth wall with a beautiful dove grey fabric in a chair sitting beside it. Okay, I think I just piddled on myself from excitement :)
Love this color! It would add just enough oomph to a piece of furniture while still keeping it fairly neutral. Definitely need to try this, thanks for the inspiration!
OMG THANK YOU!!! I have been DREAMING of this color for my living room, how did you know?? ;) I've actually given up because I'm moving soon. However, when I do move, I'll be using most of the same decorative elements and now have the right paint color for the walls!
I just discovered your blog via my google reader "suggestions" and I LOVE it!! I love your style and the things you are drawn to- there is so much inspiration on here!! Definitely my new favorite blog. Thanks for sharing!
yes, especially with brass hardware! would be gorgeous on bottom kitchen cabinets with carrara marble countertops and white open shelving on top a la jenna lyons. please share if you use it on a piece of furniture! xo
