Irish Dreamin'

Did you know I'm Irish by marriage? Yeah, I know.. taking the last name "Dunn" doesn't an Irish girl make. But my husband's mom, dad and brother (who are Irish) are in Ireland right now and oh how I wish we were there with them!

So instead, I'll share this Irish castle turned hotel, and let's dream shall we? It's called the Gregan's Castle Hotel in Burren.

It'd be hard to make the inside look as beautiful as the outside, but the folks at Gregan's Castle succeeded.

Doesn't it look straight out of a magazine? The decorating in this hotel is spot on. The Domino book-like wallpaper.. the upholstered headboards.. the lacquered fireplace. And that dining room!

I can just imagine sipping my coffee with a good book in the gardens.. And speaking of gardens, check out these cute guys that live there:

Okay, back to reality!

  7. This place looks amazing! I love how all the rooms look entirely different - none of them have that hotel feel - great find!

  8. Hey sweetie, yeah the reason Ireland is 10 shades of green is because in August it is like an L.A. January!! Wow, I should have brought more warm clothes this time. We did the Burren area last visit here, but, you know, we do the B &B's because it is less €. We will have to do a fa mily trip in 2 years.
