Well it's almost September (!!!!) and the next 4 months will be full of festivities. In September I'm hosting book club, then comes Thanksgiving (we're hosting!) and Christmas (which will also be here). So this means I must get the house a little more put together.
I showed you the before's, then I showed you some pictures of us working on the house when we first moved in. I thought I'd show you some "during". Things haven't changed much, but I wanted to document the current state of our house since I anticipate things changing a bit in the next couple months (or at least I hope so!).
(this is only downstairs. & these are candid shots so excuse the random stuff).

Ooooh, I LOVE your new dining table! Where did you find it?
ReplyDeleteIt's looking great, you guys have made a TON of progress! We have the same washer and dryer and LOVE them, keep up the hard work! *Amy
ReplyDeleteYou guys are moving fast, we had our lawn mower in our dining room for 6 month, but we didn't have a garage...I LOVE your dining room, those chairs and that table are perfect together. I think it is BRILLIANT
ReplyDeletelooking good. love those dining chairs! and that gray paint color
ReplyDeletelove getting a peek. its looking gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThe bones of your house are gorgeous...you are doing a beautiful job...so chic!
ReplyDeleteIt makes me feel so much better to know that I'm not the only one with many unfinished projects! Dining chairs are beautiful, and look soooo comfy!
ReplyDeleteits really coming along! I like how you have a super short list for each room...hopefully that is easier to tackle than one super-sized long list!!!
ReplyDeleteKeep us posted on all the updates!!! I love watching you house take shape!
Where did you find those dining room chairs?! They are so chic!
ReplyDeleteAlso, as a 26-y.o. reader, I appreciate you keeping it real by showing your home as a work in progress rather than as a completed package.
Love, love that dining room table!! Very nice progress on the house too.
ReplyDeleteLove the table in your kitchen. I'm looking for exact same one right now. Can I ask where its from? Good luck with all the work. It look awesome already :)
ReplyDeletets looking great! I love the white fireplace, and all the colors you have chosen!
ReplyDeleteIt's looking good! I so understand how painfully slow things can go. But I like to tell myself that it builds character to have to wait... whatever works, I guess. :)
ReplyDeleteYou have made a lot of progress so far! Almost all of my pictures on my blog are "in progress." If I waited until each room was finished, I wouldn't have anything to show ! Having people over is definitely good motivation to get things finished. Although we have been in our house almost a year and finally had our housewarming/open house last weekend! :)
ReplyDeleteIt really has come so far already! Can't wait to see what you use for the dining chairs - those legs are killing me and will look amazing with new fabric up top!
ReplyDeleteLooking great! Love what you have done so far!
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting....I have been wondering what else you might have done since the family painting weekend! All looks great, and I love the dining chairs. Can't wait to see all that is to come!
ReplyDeletecoming along nicely! we're 2.5 years in and not finished yet!
ReplyDeleteIt's looking wonderful! I love your dining room table!!! Thanks for sharing!

Everything is looks great, you've already put a lot of work into it and I think it is helpful for us non designers to see what an in progress looks like so thanks for sharing!!
ReplyDeleteI have so many unfinished projects and rooms. I wish I could just walk into any store locally and find exactly what I need to finish at least one! It seems my problem is more in finding what I have pictured in my head. Hate being so picky. It's nice to know others are living the "unfinished" life, too.
ReplyDeleteI always think it's brave to show the "in progress" pictures. I'm trying to work up the courage myself. Good luck with all the projects you want to get done before the holidays!
ReplyDeleteIn-progress posts can be just as fun as finished posts! It's refreshing to see blogs that show that you can't just decorate a house in one fell swoop (well, you can, but not really on a budget!)
ReplyDeleteWow I think you've done a lot so far! Nice job! I always look forward to seeing your progress.
ReplyDeleteLook good Bryn! I love your dining room ceiling!
ReplyDeleteI love your dining room table and the lamp you have in your living room. Where are they from?
ReplyDeleteIn-progress posts ARE fun. Thanks for sharing your plans. And my goodness, your hardwoods are stunning. Such a rich color and sooo shiny.
