I'm sure you've heard of this book and probably a lot of you have read it. But if not - please go pick it up! And if you have a long commute, I highly recommend getting it for your ipod. The character readings are perfect.
And I just did a little googling and it seems they are making a movie! Of course it won't be as good as the book, but it looks like it will be a good one.

This is by far the best book I have read in a long time. I finished it a couple months ago, and I long for more news about Miss Skeeter and Abileen!

I second this recommendation. Such a great read (it's pretty long and only took me 3 days to read... it's that much of a page-turner). Had no idea about the movie, and I'm not sure how I feel about that, but I'm sure I'll still watch it :)
I love audio books! In fact, I canceled my Sirius subscription because I've been listening to so many books. I've heard great things about The Help, thanks for sharing!

I've heard this is a wonderful book and can't wait to read it. I also have to recommend "Same Kind of Different As Me" about a wealthy man and a homeless man/modern-day slave becoming friends. It's excellent!

That book is really, really, really good.
I, too, like to listen to books. They are great if you have several hours in the car. The other times I think are terrific to listen are when I'm painting a room. Listening to a good book makes painting seem like less work.
I hate to burst your bubble, but in a lot of states it's against the law to drive with headphones, hopefully you are able to hook your iphone up to the car speakers when you are driving.
I read this and loved it. Just loaned it to my friend for her to read, and she's loving it too. I think it will translate very well into a film.

Okay, I'm dumb. How do I download books and listen to them on my iphone? Is that a special app? I have a long drive every couple of weeks and would love to listen to a book instead of music!

I just finished that book the other day. I was up half the night since i couldn't put it down! now i'm earerly awaiting the movie! I love the cast so far!

BTW-- in most states it's illegal to listen use headphones while driving, you should probably look in to a FM transmitter for your iPod. :)
