Tile!

Matt and I recently met our neighbors across the street and I learned that the husband does wonderful tile work!

Oh, the possibilities...

(some of these may be repeats, because I love them so much. Also if you know the sources please let me know and I will credit!)

  1. ooooo, I love knowing talented people! I always wish I had a talent to trade (My bff does great hair, and always swaps her services for the best stuff!) But alas, being overly-anal seems to be mine! Not a big market for that! :)

  3. That's a good neighbor to have! What a nice resource when you get ready to do some work!

The best neighbor resource we've had so far is one with a wheelbarrow!

  7. Sounds like a great new neighbor! Beautiful images.

    # 4 {kitchen} is Tommy Smythe's {aka Sarah Richardson's sidekick} old kitchen. Can't remember if it was in Style at Home or House and Home. One of my favourite's either way!

    Happy Friday!

    Love the 1st image.
You should try Tin Eye. I wrote about it this week and it is great at finding image sources.

  10. I wish I knew how to do tile...well. It's such an art when you find someone who can be precise and exacting--I am always so impressed when we have a REALLY good tile guy (or gal) on a job. Lots of skill involved. Love all these images.
