I have some exciting news to share with you! Let me start of by saying I'm a big believer that everything happens for a reason, pretty much like fate. Well.. a client/friend of mine here in Charlotte recently told me she was at one of her favorite local shops and talking with the owner. The owner was telling her she needed someone to help out with the shop and also with interior design. My client/friend said she knew of someone who would be perfect, and that person was me!
I've been so blessed to be very busy with bryn alexandra interiors, but when I heard about this opportunity I knew it was meant to be. I'll be learning from very talented interior designers and also learning more about interior products and fabrics. I consider this a big step in my career.
I'll only be working in the shop 2 days a week, so I will still be committing most of my time to bryn alexandra interiors. It just means I'll be running more errands on the weekends :)
Yesterday was my first day and it was great! The Schumacher rep came in and showed us the entire new collection (seriously, she came in with a suitcase. so. much. fabric.) I saw the new colorway of Chiang Mai. Gorgeous!
