A great way to update that capiz chandelier that everyone seems to have:

I had one hanging in our office in California. There it fit well with the Coastal location, but I was wondering if there'd be a good place to put it in our new house.

Now I'm thinking with a great drum shade, it'd be cool in my office, or maybe the dining room?
I think navy blue would look especially nice:
