Even though it's already almost March (!!) I just now got my 2010 desk planner. My husband tells me I can use my iPhone for everything, but there is just something about writing out everything to do in your day.
I decided to go handmade this year and looked towards Etsy for my 2010 desk planner. I found this one and clicked "ADD TO CART" as soon as I could. It won me over with the light blue... as you can see light blue is one of three colors I decided to use for my new business. (dark blue and green being the other two).

Here's hoping this year will be the best ever... (so far it has been!)

Oooh I love it! I may have to order one as well :)
ReplyDeleteI would agree. writing seems more personable and memorable than typing. love the planner:)
ReplyDeleteHi Bryn,
ReplyDeleteI have been reading/stalking your site for a few weeks now. You have given me some great design tips & inspiration. Like you, I haven't bought a 2010 planner but I may just pick up this one.
Thanks!
I'm like you--I need to write it out with a pencil. I don't know why. I really did try to keep my schedule on my iphone but it felt so weird--my husband thinks I'm weird not using my phone or laptop to hold my schedule! Oh well. BTW, mine planner is not as cute as yours! :)
ReplyDeleteI also just got my planner a few weeks ago. My husband just does not get it! He cannot understand why I can't just use my droid and google calendar, but I love writing things and making lists in my little book - it just doesnt feel the same electronically! Plus I love having a pretty little book with me at all times.
ReplyDeletepretty. I am the same, I need to have a pretty date-book and I love mine. I have an i-pod too and I am trying to have lists there.
ReplyDeletemay your year ahead be the best!

That's pretty ! I've been using the same American Express planner for the last 12 years (well a new one every year).... Might be time for a pretty one next year. I covered my mouse pad yesterday, it's on my blog today ! :)
ReplyDeleteI have a planner and a note book on my desk. I'm always scribbling notes and appointments in both. Like many of you my husband is all about the technology and just doesn't 'get me' when it comes to writing it down. When I talk to a client or a vendor I make a note of what was said so I don't forget. How am I supposed to put THAT on my iPhone or Outlook? I'll admit it does take some cross checking, but it's the way I work, and it works for me. Power to the pencil!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Thanks for sharing. I use a planner and outlook and I'm still a disorganized mess!
ReplyDeleteI prefer writing things out in a planner too :-) I've tried digital ones but always go back.
