Have you mentioned this before? I love hardware. I've been noticing that I have been spending more on hardware for my clients then I do for their actual pieces of furniture. For instance - a $35 dresser that has been painted pink will be getting these:
And a $120 credenza (will be painted white) will be getting these:
I can't wait to see how it all looks together!

Bryn,
ReplyDeleteI recently found an amazing 9-drawer, long and low dresser at the Salvation Army. My husband painted it a light-light-light lavender for me and we used hardware almost identical to the Restoration Hardware ones you have here in this post.
I'd noticed them at Restoration Hardware but was able to find some just like them at Home Depot. They were in the contractor section, rather than the regular hardware dept. I love how the exposed screws look with the flirty-girl color we painted it.
Can't wait to see your finished products ;)
Hi Bryn, Have you ever shopped for hardware online at Lee Valley? Since I'm in Canada we shop (in store) at Lee Valley all the time, but I know that they ship worldwide and their hardware is great quality at really practical prices (especially considering that the US dollar is worth more than our CDN dollar). We've used their hardware on a number of furniture pieces that my husband has built and they always accompany the furniture well...
