Scroll a bit down and you'll see my recent post about fall shoes. Well, I thought I'd stop by Payless.com to see if they have any good inexpensive alternatives, and boy was I in for a treat....
Shoes on the left, from my original blog post. Shoes on the right, from Payless!
The Payless shoes have all the qualities I'm looking for in a fall shoe for 1/2 the price of just ONE of the pairs on the left.
My little caveat: the Payless quality isn't going to be the same as the shoes on the left, it's a fact. But Payless is perfect for me since I like to buy new styles each season. I also have to add, my Payless booties from last year have held up beautifully and are ready to be worn again this fall.
The BOGO sale is happening now, and you bet I'm going to go check it out during lunch ;)

I LOVE Payless. I always stock up during their BOGO sale. I've been doing that for probably the last ten years(that's the reason why I was able to afford such a good shoe collection during/after college)! My only complaint is that I can't always find the style I want in my size, but that's why they have a website I guess. They can also look up to see if the pair you want is in a nearby store. Pretty cool. Have fun shoe shopping!
ReplyDeleteWow! Amazingly similar. I wonder how comfy they are?
ReplyDeleteYou and your shopping are killing me lately. I have been doing the same fall shopping on my blog and it is getting out of control! There are too many fun things this fall.
yes!!
ReplyDeletei've been lusting over swedish-hippie-looking clogs (something like this: http://www.lorisshoes.com/product.asp?lt=d&deptid=4308&pfid=LDS11002)
and i found a satisfactory substitute at the bogo sale! of course, they don't look that great up close, but who's going to have their nose at my toes?!
I love these, especially the first pair. I think Payless is a great option and it is all I really can afford (besides shoes with ridiculous clearance prices). All of my shoes from there have held up wonderfully and are so cute. I want me a pair of some boots (need to stick with ankle-height though because I was lucky and inherited the large calf gene in my family - that or I just have super tiny feet compared to the rest of me).
ReplyDeleteI peruse Payless often - for ballet shoes for my daughter and ballet flats for me....one year I found a super bag that everyone thought was "designer"--
ReplyDeleteJust think of the savings!
pve
I absolutely love the ankle boot from payless, it does not look like a discount shoe at all.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE those payless boots! I cant believe they are from payless! I need them :)
ReplyDeletegreat finds! i think i even love the bootie from payless better than the more expensive one! i always forget about payless when I want to buy some inexpensive shoes....definitely need to go there soon!
ReplyDeleteWow, thanks for sharing. That first pair is utterly fabulous!
