Amy wrote to me asking if it's possible for her favorite couch, the lime green one, and her husband's favorite couch, the leather one, could co-exist in a room. I told her, of COURSE it can!
I love mixing pieces that are complete opposites [maybe because my husband and I are complete opposites, yet still fit]. Anyway, back to design... here is the result: a completely eclectic, yet comfy, living room.
(Their current wall color had to stay - it's a light tan color)
I won't go into details on this one, I think the board speaks for itself! It's a total eclectic mix full of organized chaos :)

OoOoLaLa you are amazing! It's so amazing how you can just picture everything looking so wonderfully tied together! =) That room is going to be gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWhere is that rug from? I love that color blue!
haha nevermind, the rug is from shades of light, my blondeness is coming out :)
ReplyDeleteOh cool - you used my gussied up shade!
ReplyDeleteAs usual, I like your board and picks - but I have to disagree about the two couches looking right in the same room. They are both nice couches but I don't think they just aren't right for each other.
love this one, too. probably because my house is done in these colors!
ReplyDeletedo you have a link to that Etsy painting? I love it!
I just love it too. I love how it's not at all matchy-matchy. Super creative!

(would that rug work for YOUR living room? or is it too light blue?)
yeah, i'm loving this one too. but i am all for organized chaos. i am so over matchy-matchy anyway. i think you've done something fantastic here.
