A sad, sad story.

Actually, I should change my post title. This post isn't about a story - it's about someone's real life.

Sometimes I really hate myself when I stumble upon horrible tragedies of someone else that makes me appreciate what I have. I wish I could say I walk around always appreciative of the blessings in my life and the ones I love and who love me, but unfortunately I'm a pessimist.

But this story will really make you appreciate blessings. It's a blog of a creative, talented, loving father who experienced the birth of his first child (a daughter) and the loss of his wife all in 27 hours. Here they are in a heart-wrenching photo:

If you've never been to his blog - start here.

Then go here to read about what his life is like now.

But beware- tears will follow.
