Unfortunately the curtains don't look as great as I had wanted.... ideally I would love to have white silk curtains in the room instead of gold, but they came with the house and they are very high quality/expensive, so they will stay until I can afford white dupioni drapes.
I would love this look (this is just like our new wall color)...

But our drapes are like this...

Creating this look. (thanks Photoshop)

But in the words of my man Tim Gunn, I'll "make it work".
I am wracking my brain trying to figure out what I want to do with the wall behind the desk. For now, I'm thinking of doing something similar to this:

I have a lot of great things that can go into the frames, I just have to find some great inexpensive frames to put them in! (These PB ones are a rip off).
And one last complaint about the office - the big black leather office chair. It's such an eye-sore... I need to motivate Matt to let me switch it out.
Oh how I love projects! :)
Love the pictures idea. We just did the same thing in our office behind our desk. A little bit different- but same idea. I actually found a picture that had a desk set up like that with the pictures- it looks amazing. We have alrady gotten a ton of compliments on it. :)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see photos of your finished product! I LOVe the wall color.
