Great Crock Pot Recipe!

I'm not a huge fan of pork tenderloins, UNLESS it's cooked in a crock pot! Here is a great pork crock pot recipe, I recommend it to everyone!

Crock Pot Pork Tenderloin
  • 1 (2 pound) pork tenderloin
  • 1 (1 ounce) envelope dry onion soup mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 3/4 cup red wine
  • 3 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste
Place pork tenderloin in a slow cooker with the contents of the soup packet. Pour water, wine, and soy sauce over the top, turning the pork to coat. Carefully spread garlic over the pork, leaving as much on top of the roast during cooking as possible. Sprinkle with pepper, cover, and cook on low setting for 4 hours. Serve with cooking liquid on the side as au jus.

I mixed the au jus with some flour to make a gravy.

The mashed potatoes are my signature mashed potatoes - I don't ever measure anything, it's all done by taste. But I put in ranch, butter, salt/pepper, milk and roasted garlic.

  1. What a fabulous dish! So warm and hearty. It's missing a few sprinkles of Italian Parsley for some freshness both to the taste and to the eye. Have you tried Buttermilk in your mash? It's fabulous! Ina Garten has a delish recipe. Loving your blog!
