It does not have a lumbar support, so in reality it feels like you are wearing a ergobaby canada backpack backwards. This leads to all the weight of the baby being carried through your shoulders and therefore the heavier your baby is, the more tired your shoulders will be. We do not recommend this baby carrier past 6 months of age. It is great in the first 6 months, while the baby is still quite light, but after that it becomes tiresome to wear for any extended ergo baby periods. Born work universally well for me and they are really well made and more affordable than other designer brands. I have never been able to get Frye boots to work for me. They are black but I think they made them in brown as well, and they weren't tight but held their own shape- no slouching at all. And they lasted me for a few years but sadly now need to be replaced. I also have a cheaper pair that are Lucky brand I think, bought from Macy's that have a zip up the side. THey look a little more casual with the zip but again hold their shape. I'm thinking of trying a riding boot by Cole Haan this year, but those are more of an investment than I'm used to.Krystahttp://krystabutler.tumblr.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3481334885690177821.post-41139870362593807982012-09-04T14:33:50.198-04:002012-09-04T14:33:50.198-04:00these are the bomb, I have multiple colors. I'm hesitant on Duo out of the UK because I often find that buying online doesn't work out the best -- I love a boot or shoe online, but the color or proportions are different when I see it in person. I did pick up a pair that fits better than any I've had before in the ankle and lower leg (not slouchy at all throughout). They are still a tad too big for me at the calf area, however, but it's just the gap, not the wrinkles/slouch factor, which is better than usual. I took them to a shoe repair shop, but they can't be altered. I'm hoping I can just wear with some leg warmers to even out the gap at my calf. Here are the ones I found at (local Charlotte) DSW -
http://www.dsw.com/shoe/audrey+brooke+abey+riding+boot?prodId=dsw12prod3940004&productRef=SEARCH . Good luck!
