Friday Find

Today's Friday Find isn't for the home, it's for you :)

When I was at ABC Home in NY, they had the most beautiful dainty jewelry that I was going crazy over. Except it was all around $300+ (mostly likely all real gold). I found some "look for less" options on Etsy.

I love this sweet little heart with both gold and silver for $58:

And a similar look, I also love this puffy little heart :)

"Floating" Kids Art

I'm working on a gallery wall of kid's art for a client of mine, and we were originally going to do some IKEA Ribba frames.

Then I saw this picture in the latest Lonny:

I liked how a lot of the art is floating.. I think it's actually just tacked up on the wall?

But to get the same look and make it a little more finished, I thought it'd be cool to do kid's art in these acrylic frames:

They are from MUJI.. I was able to see them in person when I was in NY, they are simple yet cool.

I'll let you know how it goes!

Here are some "sneak peeks" of the room.. (obviously not styled, and not finished yet).

We used acrylic shelves for the kid's books (you can see in the first picture) and it will be nice to bring the same idea over onto the other wall (second picture).

Accessories... a little or a lot.

Typically I'm a minimalist when it comes to accessories.. I don't usually like a lot of clutter.

However, I realized I've been pinning spaces that have a lot of beautiful accessories.

These rooms feel so cozy!

But it's a challenging thing to fill your room with a lot of accessories because there is a fine line between cozy and cluttered ;) My recommendation - only purchase pieces that you absolutely love instead of pieces just to fill the space.
