Holiday Gift Guide 2010 : Women

I decided to do a little Holiday gift guide series this year featuring all things from Etsy.com. You all know how much I love Etsy - I'm all about supporting artists and handmade. It's also nice knowing you're giving something truly one of a kind!

1 - Large Leather Tote Bag - $100
This bag is beautiful and a fraction of the price of a designer bag. The style and color are classic, I'm sure any women would love to get this!

2 - Vintage Glass Candlesticks - $65
I was so blown away by this color. They are a bit pricey for candlesticks, but so unique and beautiful. You could design an entire table around them.

3 - Fig and Almond Sugar Polish - $6.50
A great stocking stuffer or hostess gift. Just reading the description makes me want to take a bath. You can even use it on your face!

4 - Sewn Moleskine Notebook - $6.50
This notebook is so pretty! It would surely get compliments when pulled out to jot down some notes. And.. it's made in France. So cool :)

5 - Blue Topaz Ring - $169
This ring is STUNNING. Not much more to say about that!

6 - Romo Seraphine Lumber Pillow - $65
I adore the pattern on this pillow. And the down insert is included! I'm sure you know my favorite part... the matching piping!

7 - Magic Carpet Painting - $40
This painting is so beautiful. It's small (5x7) but packs a big punch. At first it looks like a piece of marble paper, but as you get closer you'll see it's hand painted. A perfect piece of original art on a budget.

Tomorrow I'll be posting an Etsy gift guide for men and one for children/babies on Weds!

(None of these sellers nor Etsy.com has compensated me for this post.)

The December Giveaway

It's here! The December Giveaway! I am so excited to share this month's giveaway with you because we had some amazing gifts gifted from some amazing people.

1. Navy and Silver Remnant Fabric
This fabric is a remnant piece from the curtains and pillow in this project. The dark navy blue and silver diamonds remind me of a deep dark night sky.

2. Red Burlap Flower Pillow 12 x 18 gifted by livycreation
A big THANK YOU to livycreation for this beautiful burlap pillow. I found this pillow on Etsy and immediately fell in love with it, and she graciously gifted it to us for the giveaway. I had it sitting on my black wingback chair and it was gorgeous. I may have to order one for myself!

If you don't win, you can purchase this pillow HERE!

3. NEST Holiday Candle
I love this Holiday scent! It's definitely one of my favorite Holiday candles and I could not do a December giveaway without giving you one!

4. Armitage One Link 16" Gold Necklace gifted by JESS LC
A big THANK YOU to Jessica Constable of JESS LC for this beautiful necklace! It's so perfectly dainty; I would wear it every single day layered with other longer necklaces or alone. Like I've mentioned before, I love finding products for the giveaway that I would absolutely purchase for myself, and this is no exception :) Jess was so kind to gift us this necklace, thank you Jess!

Check out the JESS LC website to see all her wonderful and unique designs. Click HERE to purchase your own Armitage necklace in case you don't win!

5. Red Modern Tray & Silver Lace Tray gifted by Celeste Hudson & Charlotte Cocker Rescue
I met Celeste at the Mrs. Howard & Eddie Ross event weeks ago. She was so sweet and told me she runs a booth at Sleepy Poet here in Charlotte. We got to chatting, and she offered these two trays from the booth for the giveaway. Celeste has such a kind heart and is offering these trays on behalf of Charlotte Cocker Rescue. I was very excited to hear about the organization, as you know I am a "mommy" to a rescued spaniel mix. Please check out the organization and check out Celeste's booth at Sleepy Poet. She is dealer 60 and has two booths on Aisle 7 in Sleepy Poet.

6. Large Red Glass Bauble Ornament
I picked this pretty bauble up at Home Goods since I knew I was doing sort of a "red" theme to this giveaway. It reminds me of a vintage bauble, which are my favorite :)

I thought I'd add some fun to the giveaways and ask silly questions for the entries. All you have to do is answer this question in the comments section to enter:

What is the most embarrassing gift you've ever received during the Holidays?

EXTRA ENTRY OPPORTUNITIES:

If you tweet about this giveaway with a link back to my blog, you get one extra entry. Once you tweet, come back and comment again.

If you blog about this giveaway with a link back to my blog, you get two extra entries. Once you blog, come back and comment twice with the link to your post.

The monthly giveaway will be posted on the 1st of every month.
[Sorry I'm a day late this month!]
If the 1st of the month falls during a weekend, the giveaway will be posted on Monday.

The giveaway will end on the 10th of every month at midnight EST.
Check back on the 11th of every month to see if you won! The winner will be chosen at random via random.org.

Again, a big THANK YOU to our generous gifters and to you for reading my blog! Good Luck!

December Giveaway.. coming very soon!

Normally the monthly giveaway would be posted on the first of every month... but this month I'm waiting for a very special package to add to the giveaway and I promise the wait will be worth it! I should be expecting it today, so the giveaway will be posted very soon.

In the mean time, I am happy to share what the November giveaway winner, Casey, did with her items.

She used the fabric as a table runner - what a great idea!

When I put the November giveaway together I was really hoping it'd be used for something special during this time of year.. and I was so happy to see her pictures. You can check out her blog post here!

Happy December! And I promise the giveaway will be posted any day now, as soon as I get the special package in :)
