Love Love Love

Love Love LOVE fresh on the market RUE Magazine. More so than Lonny Mag. Yup, I said it.

CHECK IT OUT!

Random Stuff

Do you hate when I do posts full of random stuff? Love it? Impartial?

I wanted to show you these stools that I had made for a client. They turned out ah-mazing. Shout out to my awesome work room who can make pretty much make anything I throw at them. If you are local and are in need of furniture - email me!

Anyway, here they are (they were based off of the Ballard Stools):

Look there in the last picture - see the Chiang Mai? I'll take some better pictures once this space is finished.. but I really love how it's turning out. The family is young and really cool with two adorable boys, and we are injecting some fun into their home.

Although I'm not a huge fan of trellis, I LOOOVE chains. Particularly this chain fabric from Windsor Smith:

It's going on some sexy low profile chairs, and yes that orange will be in the room!

I cannot believe September is halfway through. So much to do, such little time.

In other random news, I love these furry pillows from World Market:

They'd be great during the Holidays (which will be here before we know it!)

Speaking of the Holidays, did you know I'm hosting both Thanksgiving AND Christmas at our new house? I need to get my butt in gear to make this place look a little more presentable... and maybe get some furniture while I'm at it! Which is one of the reasons I don't think I can go to the Nate Berkus Blogger show :( For the cost of flights, etc.. I could buy a sofa.

Let's talk throw pillows.

We've talked throw pillows here before, but I'm bringing them up again because I really really need some.

Case in point, our current living room:

Awww, it's so sad and bare! I'm bringing in some of this fabric very soon, I cannot wait to show you!

Now I just need to figure out some great throw pillows. I always tell my clients to splurge a little on fabric for the throw pillows. You don't need too much yardage, and they can really transform the room.

Here is a brainstorm for this room...

But then again.... who really knows. When it comes to my own home, I'm indecisive.. and slow.

To help spark some pillow movement in my home, here are some great throw pillow combos:

This next image is very special - this room was designed by my boss at the shop I work at 2x a week. She is SOOOO talented and I am so lucky to learn from her. I feel like my job is more of an apprenticeship than a job. She is a master at pillow arrangement.
