The West Elm Rug.. finally mine :)

I've posted about my LOVE of this rug before here. And I'm so excited to finally own it!!
West Elm Jute Chenille Herringbone Rug
I ordered the 5x8 size for our kitchen dining nook:
I love it!! I wish it were a little wider, but when ordering from places like West Elm you have to work with what they offer. However, this rug is just as awesome as I had thought... it's so soft and looks great. Someday I'd love to have a house with all hardwoods and I'd put this rug in the family room for sure!

As for the kitchen, our weekends are booked up the next couple weeks, but I hope to get to the backsplash as soon as I can!!

  1. It looks great! I must say, after you posted about this last time and showed a photo of it in a nursery that has the same color walls as the one I'm putting together, that sealed the deal for me. Very happy with my purchase too!

  2. Love the tile you picked out, and the new rug looks so great with the tile! Good choices!!!

  3. The rug is beautiful! Truly elegant. And I am in love with the little furry cutie in the forefront!
a new follower! and I hope you will come by and visit me on my blog anytime!!!! xo

  4. I have the 8X10 in my master and 3X5 in my master bath. They are great rugs. Perfect blend on texture and comfort.

  5. I can see why you've loved it for so long! It's beautiful!

  6. I have this rug in our living room. I, too, love it. However, I can't find any information on how to clean it. If someone else who owns it could give me some tips, I'd really appreciate it!

  7. Great elegant rug. I hope I'll be able to update my kitchen soon, too

  8. Love the rug. I would suggest layering another rug underneath, like an inexpensive seagrass. This will acquire the width you desire and create a contrasting border that differentiates the tone of the rug from the hue of the beautiful tiles. :)

    From one designer to another

  9. One of my favs also Bryn.....looks great on your new tile floors:)
