Halfway

I never show projects at their midway point because they're not usually very pretty or exciting, but I thought you may like this one. Two words: pink walls.

    Nichole from parlourhomeblog painted her fireplace black (& the trim in her dining room!) and it's beautiful - can't wait to see how your fireplace turns out!

    Yes! Black would look awesome. And I love how you've used those IKEA tables. They look awesome. Have you seen the $99 Jenny Lind bookcases from Target? That may be another way to add in more spindle-y goodness. Thanks for the progress post!

    The black fireplace will look awesome! I just love the color palette of this room, black, blush, white, and gold are all my favorite colors. I also really like the painting you have above the fireplace!

    Looking beautiful!  Love the color scheme and art.  And, I LOVE those sconces...they are like ones in Candace Bushnell's apt. that I have saved away in inspiration.  If you could share your source, I'd appreciate it!

    Love pink walls! I've always been too scared to try them so I can't wait to see what you do to this space. Any helpful hints for picking the perfect shade of pink that won't look too 'pink'? Looking great!
