I love natural accents too ! I was just thinking this am how I miss my headboard from Ikea that was made from rattan. Sadly, they no longer carry this style anymore and I no longer have the headboard. Sigh... but on a lighter note, I love your cat !

Aww...I love him! I'm so glad he was able to win your heart! Would love to see some idea on how to "style" the kitty food area. We have to keep in on a table so the dogs can't get it and I always struggle with a way to make it "pretty." Now that you are officially a three species family would love your ideas!
