You can have your cake and eat it too! Okay I am being a bit dramatic.. but I am pretty excited about this. FINALLY there are great looking cream/light rug options out there that will stand up to messy kids and muddy dogs thanks to Dash & Albert!
Check these out!
All of these rugs are are hoseable, scrubbable, and bleachable. If that isn't kid friendly, I don't know what is.
There are even more styles on the website here.
Thank you Dash & Albert!!
(no they are not paying me, I am just really excited about this.)

Great options! I've seen these and wonder how soft they feel. Anyone have any experience with them?
ReplyDeleteOOO that is fantastic! So exciting! :)

This is really great - thanks for sharing. We don't even have kids but our living room is really our only space that people gather in our home and I'm so afraid of having rugs get ruined by all the traffic - this is really awesome!
ReplyDeleteGreat find. Really love the diamond one.
ReplyDeleteI don't want to be negative at all but I'd want to know if they are made of the polypropylene #5 (the safe one) first, and then what chemical they use to UV treat it, before I'd want a baby crawling on it. Other than that they are beautiful, and if they are truly safe for babies and small children then, yes, party on!
ReplyDeleteI love Dash and Albert... they have such fun designs!

Considering I spent this week cleaning blueberry vomit (TMI, I know) off of our rug this week, this is great news! :)
ReplyDeleteDash and Albert always have the cutest stuff! Wonder if this stands true for little four-footed children too? THinking so....

I've been eyeing many Dash and Albert rugs because of their affordability, great design, and wear. The West Star Wool Hooked Rug keeps catching my eye, especially because I think it would go with some Sunara Ikat fabric I just bought for pillows. Then again, maybe I should play it safe and stick with my seagrass rug. But it's so pretty...
ReplyDeleteYay! I need one. My kids are messy!
ReplyDeleteI'm sold at bleachable!
ReplyDeleteI have one of the indoor/outdoor in our bedroom. It's not as soft as the cotton rugs, but it is seriously indestructible!
ReplyDeleteI was just looking at these on the Dash & Albert website yesterday! I was wondering how soft they are though...
ReplyDeleteYES! I had the diamond and the wide stripe saved but I didn't see the others! Thanks for posting this! I hope to get one of them for my living room!
ReplyDeleteI often wonder if they are really "tested" out on families or if that is just some marketing line...because i have two kids and a 100 lb lab and I would love to know the actual facts before I invest money on something like that.
ReplyDeletethanks for the resource. as a mom to a three year old, as much as you try to take precautions for messes, they still happen!
ReplyDeleteYes! Thank you x 1000!!! Bookmarking this :)

There are actually some great Thom Filicia indoor/outdoor rugs on Overstock.com right now as well. I just picked up a runner from that line yesterday (2x8) for less than 50 bucks!
ReplyDeleteBryn, I have had the beige/white diamond patterned (6x9') one in my family room for a couple of years. I shake it out once a week ( doesn't vacuum great) and clean with a rag and some dish soap whenever anything is spilled, which is daily with my little ones! It looks as great as it did the day it was delivered. I totally recommend it!
ReplyDeleteLove these rugs. We're exclusive providers of Dash & Albert rugs in Fort Worth, so I hope you don't mind us linking to you post on our blog today. :)
ReplyDeleteLove me some Dash and Albert. I like the weave of the first 2.
ReplyDeleteHow awesome! I need one of these.
ReplyDeletewow, no way. I love the striped one!
ReplyDeleteAs a mom of two little ones and a lover of Dash & Albert rugs! all I can say is YIPPY! Love me some striped cotton rugs. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeletei LOVE d&a rugs! i have the diamond rug in two sizes. you can NOT bleach them but you can hose them off and toss them in the washer with clorox 2 (only the lighter color ones, not the darker ones). d&a rugs are the best ... worth every penny!
ReplyDeletei should also say the indoor/outdoor ones (the diamond in your post) vacuum well with a handheld or upright only if you can turn off the spin. they do best being shaken out.
ReplyDeletethe indoor/outdoor are much rougher than the cotton hooked. they both stand up really well to high traffic. i have a cotton hooked in the kitchen - going on 3 years with it and 2 indoor/outdoor in the bathrooms. they are both very durable and have held up well to much wear and tear - lots of shoes, heels, spills, people.
