I came across these images and I was blown away - now THIS is my kind of trailer!!
LOVE how they put Cole & Son Woods in this trailer.. so cheeky :)

Someday, if/when we get our old airstream, I'll be sure to slap on a couple coats of fresh white paint on everything to make it feel open and bright and happy. Ahh.. I can imagine many trips to the beach and mountain... Someday!
Love the trailer....My dream (ok, probably my "retirement" dream) is an airstream. I always wanted boys, too. I got a girl first. It was terrifying, for some reason a girl just freaked me out. Best thing that ever happened to me. I faced that fear and realized that God has something different planned for me than I do for myself. If his plan is a little girl who is four and asks me every day "mommy, will you snuggle with me" or "mommy, that shirt looks CUTE. You look perfect.", than I'm ok with that.
ReplyDeleteThat is quite amazing and super stylish! I hope you have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteLovely trailer! You are so lucky your husband supports you airstream dream. When I told mine I wanted to fix up an old trailer he looked at me like I was crazy!
ReplyDeleteHave you ever checked out Elizabeth at the Mustard Ceiling's airstream? She is in the process of re-doing it and it's pretty cool too.
ReplyDeleteI never thought these words will come out of my mouth...but I ADORE that trailer, what a fun idea!
ReplyDeleteI love that the beach and mountains are so easily accessibly in NC.... one of the reasons I love it there! I share the same sentiment about having a boy. I have always said I want boys.. which means I'll probably end up with a bunch of girls! The trailer is awesome. Check out vol25 for her super cool vintage motorhome makeover http://vol25.typepad.com/vol25/our-vintage-motorhome/
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, I am in love with this! I too want an airstream (like half of blogland) and also always wanted a boy-and guess what-I ended up with two girls! But of course I am so happy with my girls and wouldn't change a thing. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeletewow, this is great! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThat is AWESOME!! I myself have no aspirations for a trailer, but my Mom is dead set on purchasing one upon retirement. At least now I know I can spruce it up a bit for her! Who would have thought??
ReplyDeleteI have the same dream too!! I'd love to have a chic, fun rv to pull to the beach! I once saw an article about a guys who made this fabulous space in the back of a storage container and it just sits closed up when he's not there right next to the ocean. I'm glad someone else is like me in the baked potato looking rv department! {And boys are fun. I've got two....I also have a girl so I'd vote that way too! Either way you win!} :)
ReplyDeletenot really sure about the whole RV thing (for me anyways) but i do love how they did it up. spectacular. and i love that it made you think of your fave RS song. i just got a very vintagey/indie image in my head of that playing in the background while looking at the RV going down the road in sepia tones. happy friday
ReplyDeleteCreative and fun! I'd like all white too.
ReplyDeleteKeeping a "some day" in our heart is a very good thing . . .
Love what they did with the interiors!!! Mostly white definitely makes it seem bigger.
ReplyDeleteThis just added a whole new dimension to my fantasy road trip around the US in an RV!
ReplyDeleteGORGEOUS. Could you imagine camping in this? Love it.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful inspiration. We bought an old airstream 1968 in November and we're renovating it....these photos are definitely great inspiration for the inside. I am thinking of modernizing and adding a lighter feel to the interior. Good luck getting yours someday!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, what song is it? My husband and I lived in a camper for a year while we built our house and I wanted an airstream but he didn't fit (he's 6'10"). While we lived in our camper, I got pregnant and we had a boy one week after we moved into our house! We named him Max Camper Adams in honor of the journey :) Great post! I have trouble thinking about stepping foot inside a camper again after being pregnant in one for 9 months but this inspires me...
ReplyDeleteHow cute is this! I love the idea of of a beautiful, snug little trailer to cozy up in after a long day of hiking (or laying on the beach :-)
ReplyDeleteOh man, this is amazing. I could live in this sassy little airstream!!!
ReplyDeleteI have to say, I was blown away too. At first, I thought it was a real house interior. I really cannot believe it is an actual trailer. I love its shade of white. It makes the inside look huge and comforting. It’s perfect for constant travelling. Well, I cannot wait for that ‘someday’ to come for you. I can feel your excitement and I’m sure you’ll achieve this pleasant look for your RV.

My jaw dropped after seeing your trailer. It has awesome interiors. I love the white concept, too. It will be perfect for your future recreational vehicle. I cannot wait for that someday to happen, where you and your husband will finally get and own that airstream, and live that happy life on the road with your baby boy. Fingers crossed. :)

Wow! Is that really an RV? The interior definitely resembles exactly that
ReplyDeleteof a house already. The kitchen, bathroom and bedroom are all in there. They’re
perfectly assembled to achieve a homey atmosphere. This is literally a traveling home.
I see… you like white-themed RV vehicles. This RV seems somewhat luxurious, so you probably have to set aside a good amount of money to get the designs here. Anyhow, I just love how the pillows were arranged! And the transparent chair added a touch of elegance to the room.
